Very useful！recommended it! Help you save a lot of time.
I’ve used the product to make my own wire at home and the outcome is impressive. The shipping is also fast. I will buy more in the future for sure.
These are the bomb! Installed new headlight connectors with ease.
I thought these were a total gimmick a few years ago when they started coming out, but when my local shop guys recommended them, I picked up a set and it really saved my butt on a few projects already and they work well in an intended application.
I used one of the 10-12gauge size and three of the 14-16 gauge size when replacing the HVAC fan resistor and resistor harness in my 1988 Ford F250 truck (see photo). After slipping on the Ticonns on each wire, then stripping about 5/8" of insulator from the ends of both wires, I twisted the ends together. After moving the Ticonns over the connection, then I used a heat gun to shrink the tubing and melt the solder inside. Even if the solder is not 100% melted, no matter, the electrical connection is working well. I'm glad to have full use of my truck's heater fan now. I didn't pull hard on the completed connection, but it seemed plenty strong. I recommend these connectors.
I am doing a lot of DIY projects for my car, bike, and some home applications. Since I saw this a while ago on a project online I wanted to give a try. These are wonderful connectors with 4 different colors which will be enough for most of the projects you are doing. Heat-shrinking is easy to use, quality is great and they are really cost-effective! I highly recommend for those who are using connectors very often.
I've only had to use one so far but I definitely don't be going back to the crimp style ones any time soon.
Highly recommend this product. It's the greatest time saver when connecting many wires. It took little to get hang of it and once I did the job had gotten easier. I'm repairing a Comfort Control Module for 99 Passat wiring harness that has been soaking in water and probably need another 40 of 26-24's. Will be ordering more now!
These seem perfect. I used a heat gun on one test and a mini torch (very carefully) on another test. Both worked great. I started by heating both ends to seal the connection and warmed the “solder” in the middle carefully and the connection seems rock solid.
This is perfect, when you need to replace wires in an engine bay (or anywhere else that you don’t want to spend too much time soldering). I’ve used it to fix some frayed and burnt wires in my Celica. I just cut off what I didn’t need and used a little torch to help put some fresh new wires back on. Beats crimping and using a soldering gun to get little work done. Especially in tight spaces. Highly recommended!!!
